Anybody who succeeds is helping people. The secret to success is find a need and fill it; find a hurt and heal it; find a problem and solve it.

I collaborated with a colleague in 2021 to create my first book, Tails of the Alamo City - A Dogs’ Adventure Guide. The project, which we completed within one year, was quite a journey. The Tails of the Hill Country - A Dogs’ Adventure Guide started as a two-year project. Despite best-laid plans, I was in a 14-month race to complete my second book by December 2024. This book was a project I cared deeply about, aiming to help The United States War Dogs. I knew I could not reach my goals without help. I contacted two highly successful pet photographers, Kim and Rita, who agreed to join the project and remained dedicated throughout. Their support, creative input, and unwavering camaraderie have been invaluable. I cannot thank them enough for their friendship and for making this project a reality.
